Earned a Master's Degree from the Department of Law and Administration at the University of A. Mickiewicz in Poznań. She did postgraduate work at the National Film School in Łódź, where she earned her Ph.D., and holds B.A. from the Academy of Fine Arts.
She is currently the director and an instructor at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw. She has lectured at the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague and has conducted workshops in Iceland. A portfolio reviewer during the International Meetings of Photography in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She is also an honorary member of the board in the House of Photography in Warsaw, Poland.
She has published articles in the photographic press, including Pozytyw, Foto and Kwartalnik Fotografia.
