Marcin Filipowicz (1985), born in Krakow, Poland. Photographer, film director, traveler. Recipient of a Polish Television scholarship in the “Dolina Kreatywna” contest, for his photographic project titled Talking Shoes/Gadające buty (1st prize) and his film Malwina i Filip (3rd prize). Author of the award-winning documentary “7109 km” (Silver Castle at Poznań). Winner of the 3rd edition of the “First Documentary” program. He is currently working on a documentary about a young Polish women who goes to Cuba to find her father.

Creator of the photo series titled “Exhibition #1”, exhibited in Krakow, Wrocław, and other cities. He was the first Polish photographer invited to the Plat(t)form'07 review of young European photographers held by the Photo Museum in Winterthur, Switzerland. His work has been shown in the Pauza gallery in Krakow.
